A bit more info would help, tank size, filter models etc..., and how much are you asking for it all?

Pix of the turts and setup?

And buyer collects...from where?

The reason why the info is not that specific is because I do not know the size of the tank off the top of my head. Nor the makes of all of my equipment. I can get you all the info and post it on here asap. I would like as close to £200 as I can get for the whole thing. I will try to get some pictures on here but it is pretty hard to get piccies of them lol. I live in Wiltshire Salisbury to be precise. I do not drive so I need the buyer to pick up. Lisa x

Default A Little More Info

Hi There.

The tank we have is approximately 1ft by 2ft but unfortunately can not be sold with the terrapins anymore. The heater we are using is a stainless steel externally controlled heater and we have 2 'Theo' back up heaters. I hope this is helpful.

Default home offered

I dont need a set up as i already have a purpose built enclosure with pond waiting.
I am specifically looking for mississipi map turtles.
How much will you sell the turtles for without their tank?
I live in cornwall so it will cost me £100 to come and collect them.
Can you bear that in mind when thinking of a price as Im sure you would rather they went to a good home in sunny cornwall than make a few quid for them?
Also do you know their sexes and sizes please?
thanks
julie

I'm sure you could have them delivered by the Reptile Taxi for rather less than £100.

Default Maps

Hi lisa
Its just not financially viable. It would cost me £100 to come and collect them and then £80 to buy them or I could use reptile taxi but they have quoted £210 as it is a 720 mile round trip.
I am not going to spend all that money buying some when I could do that 1 mile down the road at my local reptile shop for £21 each.
If you love them that much then you would be more concerned with their future happiness than a few quid.
I am not after a freebie, I am trying to do you and your maps a good deed by offering to drive 720 miles at my expense to rehome them instead of them being sold to someone who doesnt have a clue.
All I can do is offer a good safe home, where they will get a nice pond to swim in instaead of a pokey little tank.
If you cant find a suitable buyer and wish me to rehome please them get in touch and I will try to make travel arrangements.
You will see on the internet how many are being neglected and then put up for rehoming, so you need to be really careful that they are not being sold to some idiot who will dump them or keep them in a tiny tank when they grow to the size of dinner plates.
Everyone gets they because they are small and cute and kids cry for some, but they do grow and they do end up uncared for and sometimes kept in horrendously cruel conditions.
Good luck
Julie
