hi there,
i would be interested in these but i am in gloucester, is this a problem? i dont own any at the moment but own other reptiles and have been researching them for quite a while now !

Not that it makes any difference (care wise) ,but the female is a Hieroglyphic River Cooter (Pseudemys concinna heiroglyphica). I'd be surprised if it ended up any less than 12" in shell length. Realistically speaking the potential keeper would need atleast a 6' x 2' x 2' tank or indoor pond, as the cooter can't be outside in the cold months.

The YBS is going to a very good home, who has also offered to foster the cooter on a temporary basis whilst I am searching as our setup here is less than ideal for turtles of that size... so if anyone can offer a good home to the cooter, please step up

Just a wee bump. The cooter is in a foster home at the moment but she does need herself a nice permanent home
