Do you need them to be Cagle's Maps, as these are not really imported to the UK at all. The usual Maps available in the UK are False Maps and Mississippi Maps.

Hi we ended up getting 2 mississippi maps from viper and vine.

we have had them for 13 days today one of them is doing great but the other one died today. when we got him there was something on his neck which we were told was skin shedding, he was definitely the more skittish of the 2. On monday he stopped eating and he passed away today.

We are now looking for another one to keep our live one company

The guys at viper and Vine couldn't explain it and to be honest they didn't seem to know that much about them

If it died within a fortnight then it's quite likely it was sick when you bought it, when they shed skin you shouldn't really be able to see it, if you can then it's excessive and there's a reason for it, or else it's something else like skin fungus.

I would delay getting another one until you're certain the remaining one is OK, many common turt ailments are highly contagious and often related to incorrect setup, temps etc...

You should really strip and sterilise the tank and all equipment to be safe, and if you can describe your setup and maybe post some photos we can take a look and check that it's all OK.
