Has been fed a diet of weeds (mixture grown by me in a controlled environment, seeds bought from shelled warriors) and has been supplemented with nutrobol and calypso calcium.

This is COLLECTION ONLY from Rock Ferry, Wirral or I will use REPTILE TAXI. I will not post this tort, nor will I sent it by TNT in this weather.

I dont know much about this species. I am currently looking at building a table for my first tort. Is this a good starter one and could be kept indoors until next spring when I will have a garden enclosure ready!? I am in the North West.

The Marginated Tortoise is a Med Tortoise and kept very similar to the Hermanns. Take a look in the Shelled Section theres a great thread on Med Torts. As for keeping it in doors I would because of the cold weather and the fact that it was only hatched this year. As you can see from the photos, he/she is tiny and I would keep it in doors. Thanks

Thanks for the reply. Obviously I would want to get an enclosure ready for it' arrival so I won't commit to buy just yet. I have just showed Sarah (my OH) and she says it's one of the nicest she has seen!!

I can sell it with everything but the uv starter and uv tube

Thanks for the offer but for me, alot of the fun is constructing this world for the animal to live in. I will go back to B and Q tomorrow to get the wood for my enclosure and see how it goes. When in 08 was the little un born please??
