Red face wanted; young leopard tortoise, west yorkshire

Hello pretty people, me again. I'm after another leopard tortoise....

I'm on a mission to extend our shelly family! I live in haifax west yorkshire and can travel weekends and i'll collect or pay top coin for a courier (although i'd much much much prefer to collect) or you can drop off and i'll pay petrol money and for your time. I'm not fussed about a male or female, i'd prefer a younger tortoise anyway, and i'm keeping my leopards seperate.

Of course it goes without saying i'm offering a good loving home and if any sellers would like to see my setup i'd be happy to send photos, i dont keep dogs or cats and my other tortoises house is right next to me in my living room. And of course if you'd like to see the condition of my other leopard tortoise, the infamous Camo! (twice prize winner of the caption competitions 2009) that's fine as well.

I'm looking to pay approx £100. And of course this will be a permanent home for the tortoise.....until i pop my clogs. xxx thanks for looking.

Hi,

I have just seen that you are looking for a leopard tortoise. i have one that i would like to sell. i think she is female but its to early to say. she is small though. i was told when i brought her that she was 1 year old but im not convinced i think she may be younger. The reason i am selling her is that i have two medeteranian tortoises that she has been being kept with, i got bad advice from the seller who said it was ok to keep different species together - at the time unfortunately i didnt know much about tortoises. Now i have the problem that the other two are about to hibernate and and the leopard isnt a hibernating tortoise which makes life difficult. i also dont have as much time for her needs as i'd originally hoped. She is a big eater and appears to be in good health however she has had a slightly runny nose in the past which i think was due to the humidity in the viv. I am based in Suffolk and if i do sell her i would need to know that she is going to a caring home only. i think i read that u keep other leopards, i would advise you quarantine any new additions too make sure all in good health before you introduce them, im sure you are allready aware of this?! If you are interested please give me a call on 07738285522 and i would be happy to answer any questions. i purchased her in Jan/Feb time this year for £250 but what i really want is a good home for her and was thinking around the £100 mark.

look forward to hearing from you

Kind regards
Sophie
