Default New home needed - red eared slider

I have a red eared slider, approx 4 years old, he has a 5-6" shell. He is in excellent health and is feeding well. The problem we have is that he is rapidly outgrowing his tank, and we do not have the space or money to provide him with a larger tank. We desperately need to find him a home where he can grow to his full potential, as I do not find it fair that he is cooped up in a tank which is getting too small for him. He is a right character and enjoys playing footy with his rocks, and he is good at recognizing voices and he knows what time meal time is... Can anyone out there offer a good home for our turtle. He is free to good home and is collection only, and you must provide some sort of transportation for him. We live in Dursley, Gloucestershire. I look forward to hearing from anyone who can offer him a safe secure permanent home.

Is it definitely a RES? I only ask because RES have been virtually unobtainable for many years due to a ban on import, and only very recently have hatchlings started to appear in shops again, so a 4 year old one would be quite unusual, they are usually much younger or much older.

Got any pix?

why did you get it if you knew it was going to grow so large and couldn't afford a large tank?
