My gardens too small to do anything like that..
Although.. the parents place in France.. hmmmmmmm. I bet i could do something with that garden

Aldabra's don't eat weeds, they are grass eaters. How the hell do you expect him to pick weeds for such a collection

Aldabras... eat everything. They are the pigs of the chelonian world. I've seen them peel the bark off of branches... eat pine needles... pine cones... bird seed... birds... very interesting tortoises. My guys have 1/4 acre that is well planted when the weather cooperates. They, of course, get Mazuri twice a week on the average.

do they need Mazuri with such space and grass, I can understand using it in the winter

In the first post... that's what they are eating. I feed that once a week in the winter and twice a week in the summer. When they smell it they come running.

They've been fed that diet going on 8 years now.

hi Ed i must say your animals look the picture of health although im not surprised with such great enclosures, with all that space i bet they are very active and forage most of the day.
