Your Horsfields does not need "company" the only thing to be gained by adding another tortoise to the table squirt occupies is stress.
More torts in a small space only equals more competition for food, light/heat and places to hide. As always happens one tort is likely to be bolder and become more dominant eating all the food, sitting in the best basking or hiding spots and leaving the other at a disadvantage.

The only reason to do it in a 3' table is to satisfy your human need to see animals with "friends"
cheeky sod this person is rude eh i can show you rude if you want,
if you would like to provide the link to the thread where i have been rude to some one i would be more than happy to apologise i think ur talking from your

like i said I HAVE A SHED DONE UP FOR WHEN THEY OLDER READ THE POST,

If you have a shed for when they are older why don't you use it now? That way in a bigger space may be hopefully there wouldn't be any problems. I can't understand why if you have a shed you are keeping a tort in a small tort table when it could have loads of room. It doesn't make sense.

Hey guys im pretty new to the forum, and don't like to see people upsetting each other...
But on a Tortoise related subject. We have two Horsefields, and left together, even in a 3m x 3m room, they will fight, and can certainly be vicious.

Hope this helps...

Working out a dosing regime that works for your tort really comes down to the quality and variety of the whole diet.
If you're lucky enough to be able to provide a variety of say ~80 different greens and some veg throughout the year, you may only want to use nutrobal or otherwise once fortnightly and allow the torts to suppliment their own diet with cuttle the rest of the time.
Clearly if you simply cannot get hold of anything like that amount of variety then your tort will be missing out on some vits more than others. In which case I'd still only personally use Nutrobal twice weekly.

It's a minefield I know!

P.S: I seem to have sidestepped the main topic sorry! lol.
Andy, he may just be nice and relaxed in his new home now and not feel the need to pace and explore. But to be sure, how are his reactions, if you approach to touch his front legs or head, does he leave them hanging out or retreat as normal? Is he eating as normal?
thats it from what i can see thats all you have ADVISED ON im sorry to spin this out but i was not rude to you at all but cheers for the advice when squirt was poorly much aprechiated mate

I offered you a siginificant amount of advice on TropicalFishForums under this same name. You were difficult in that you hardly replied to questions asked in order to help and I've seen you be the same here.

People still reply even when they think a poster is awkward to help because they care more about the animal involved than anything else
