This is urgant cause he'll probobly be off to bed soon...

I got him yesterday (see below thread) and i thought u no after its journey home it should be able to settle in. Now its much more confortable especially when we come near it it doesnt hide in its shell as much. He keeps trying to get the od tiny bit of hemp off his neck and i was wondering with all the other benefits, can i bath thim yet? Or does he need another day or too to settle in?

Start baths tommorrow.

There is no rush but if you want to try.Try gently putting him into some nice warm water as deep as his bottom shell,if he gets out just leave him and try tomorrow.

I think hes gone to bed now anyway hehe

If I were you I'd give him a bath tonight to make sure he gets the chance to have a nice long drink if he needs it. The bath will stimulate him to pass urates and have a poo too.

I got two babies last night and gave them their first bath today. They loved it and both had a drink, poo'd and passed some urates. I thought they would try to get out but they didn't at all.
