Just out of curiosity... how old is the bigger leopard and how big is it?

I've got some articles that I wrote on the leopard and it's care. email me at epirog@comcast.net and I'll send you copies of them.

I'll be putting together a post on the growth rate in Leopards that you might find interesting.

Could you please also send me some high resolution photos of the larger leopard and the conditions under which it was kept to the best of your knowlege?

Welcome to this group... it is an entertaining group.

One note... be very careful adding more tortoises to your group.

Thank you Andy - I am finding forum really good. Still a learner when it comes to my Leopards but they are happy and very friendly so I must be doing someting right.

Taking Honey my bigger girl to the vet today though - she snores and makes the odd trumpet noise when shes asleep!!!

Spoke to Ed on the Slowcoach forum and he gave me some advise.

I have Leo's too , a 5-6 year old who used to live in a viv (until it came to me!) and a 3 year old, I am not even thinking of sexing either of them yet a while!

We are in the process of doing them an insulated shed. Probably would have been finished by now had my hubby not had an op on his knee.

The shed is 10ft x 8ft and we have put in double glazed windows at the top and a couple just above the floor, as of course Leo's need light. We have loads of insulation and the MDF to board it, just got to get the old man on his feet to do it!! We have also got all the electrics, that just needs wiring in.There will be lino on the floor. And we are making a tort table to go round three of the walls for my Hermann's to go in if we have a summer like the last one!

Behind the shed there will be a 20ft x 6ft enclosure made with gravel boards and concrete fence posts, so they can't escape. There will be a grassy part and also a soil part for them, and a cold frame that will be on the outside of the shed, so they will go into that before the garden.

That sounds great - I have an idea in my head of what I want for them but unfortunately my hubby is not a fan of DIY so we are reliant on the good old tradesman !!!

People say the height is not important and saves on heat but you need to be able to access and clean it. Maybe you could send me some pics when it is up and running.

Give your hubby a nice cocktail of pain killers and get him out there!!!!! then send him over to me lol
