Default redfoots?

I was just wondering how big redfoots get and what size table they need for hatchlings and as an adult?

Thanks.

Red Foots max out at 9 to about 20 inches depending on the race. The Cherryhead RFs max out at about 9 inches and most of the others average roughly 16 inches.

A 2 x 4 ft table can house a couple of RFs up to 6 or 7 inches.

Normally they do not hibernate but some races do have a winter slow down which can be considered a hibernation.

As mentioned in another thread... I don't recommend any more or less fruit than you would give a Hermanns.

RFs are extremely active and personable.

Are the heating requirements all the same? Same setup etc?

Thanks.

The RFs like it a little warmer and they benefit from a humid/moist area... otherwise it is the same.

Yellowfoots are tropical rainforest... Redfoots are grassland/transition zone tortoises and most populations occur in surprisingly relatively dry areas.

It's a common misconception.
