I understand what you mean clive, on a breeding loan it's not long term so you've gotta intro..do the deed etc.wheras if you purchase it you can do the 6 months quarantine before hand to make sure neither animal is ill...well i think i've understood right???

Bev just a suggestion hun but have you tried www.shelledwarriors.co.uk ? Dedicated tortoise site and forum, thats probably your best bet to find fellow egyptian keepers.

lol yes but you are unsure of their sexes just thought their might be an established breeder on there all ready to either take him on or offer a female..i think i may live in cloud cuckoo land sometimes, maybe i'm just an eternal optimist

well they are unrelated so I have a 1 in 3 chance get another and I will have a ehhhhhhhhhhhhhh chance.

Can anyone post a pic of an Egyptian Tortoise - I dont think I have ever seen one.

Cant be as beautiful as Leopards though lol

As I said to another member I don't want to do anything I will regret, I once turned down a pair of spider torts and have regretted it ever since, don't want to rehome her and regret it later.

I think there are spiders on the market at the moment. I don't want to pressure you to sell but I would be interested if you want to sell.
