Default red foot advice

hi i would just like to thank you for your advice i am taking notes and learning i want to know as much as i can before i pick my red foot up i will let you know when i pick him up if that ok cant wait

Default humidity

hi could you please advice on the best humidity fo a red foot also do they need a light at night

Hi no light at night and as long as the room they are in doesn't get too cold at night no heat either.If it gets very cold they may benefit from a heat source.

hi thanks i didn`t think so but i like to be sure i am collecting i am collecting my red foot today i have had the table set up for a few days to get it right everything seems to be ok i will let you know how it all goes in a few days,

hi picked up red foot today he ate a little but mostly just in hide bit,i will post pictures in a few days after he has settled down really cute though i am really exited i have been wanting one for ages but i waited until i had done loads of research which was how i come across you guys which proved to be really helpfull i have took all advice on board

If your red is on a table I recommend a reptile hide cave filled with damp moss and a heat mat under the wood of the table. The heat mat must be plugged into a pulse proportional themostat. I set it to about 22. This will prevent your babie drying out as babies in the wild are always in the undergrowth.
