hi i have a horsfield he is 2-4 lol we dont quite know others say 3? ne way
below are pics of my table i nocked up in the roof there is my uv its the length of the roof i have a basking light ,weeds and mixed supermarket lettuce as weeds running out i would recomend using nutrobal on foor as a calcium supliment also depending on the age of tort ur geting cuttle fish for its beak, substrate i asked on here about and they all said play sand 40% topsoil 60% mixed together, make sure its playsand not builders sand and top soil not compost, thats all i have in my set up oh apart from his water bowl make sure its big enough for ur tort to fit in as they like to have a splodge through it from time to time,well mine does hope this was a help to you ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Andy n Claire; 12-03-2008 at 02:00 PM. Probably 3-6 months as a baby??? Do you think a 3 foot by 2 foot would be fine for the rest of the life m8???

i would go for a older one personally i have been advised not to but torts to young as they have less rate of survival this was actually told to me by a reptile vet(jackie patterson) from stocxkton, i wouldnt get one that young id go for 2-3 years old they are a good size,mine is about this age and his tort table is huge for him at the minute but NO this size table probably wont be big enough for its life time i wouldnt say so ne way, id say it would need making wider in the future, hope this helps
i may be wrond but personally my table will need making wider as he grows up got a long way to go yet tho ![]() |
