Default Turtle habitats

Hi guys and gals of the shelled forum - I so desperately want a turtle (well, eventually, a few - but for now I'm just finding out stuff!) I would really like to see some pictures of indoor set-ups and outdoor setups to get an I dea of how your happy little turtles and terrapins live! Ideally, I want pictures of adult enclusures so I can get a good idea of what's needed. Its all very well looking in books and reading stuff, but its you guys that keep them nice and happy - so post on dear friends, post on!!!!! Ben

I dont have any big pics of our turt enclosure, but I can explain it:

We have a 100 litre tank that is 3/4 full, we use gravel as substate (jayjay loves to dig), we have a water heater and water filter (same as you would use in a fish tank) we keep his water at approx 25-28`C.He has a medium sized zoomed turtle dock.

We also have some plastic plants in for decoration.

Above the dock we have a basking bulb and a uv bulb.

Its just pictures I want to see really - of complete set-ups. Just so I can get an idea of hoe people accomodate for the terrestrialness of the turtles.

Sliders, Cooters, Maps, Musks and more are mainly aqautic, only leaving the water to bask. In most setups anything more than a relatively small floating area is a waste of space, this can easily be achieved with a piece of cork bark or specifically designed Zoo Med Turtle dock.
