This is Ricky was my fathers Iberia tortoise, he bought it from a market when he was seven for six pence. My father died fifteen years ago age seventy seven which makes Ricky at least eightyfive years old. I have no idea of his age when he was bought. He has had his shell drilled unfortunatly but that was the thing to do back then. He has had a fight with a lawn mower as well. Lived in a small back yard on coctrete, hybernated in a shoe box in a shed had his shell shined with olive oil fed on lettuce and tomatoes for years. Then as my father learnt more he was looked after better. Now he lives with me and two other tortoise an Iberian female rescue and an old male Greek recue no idea of age on this one but it is old. Eats weeds like they were going out of fashion and lives happily in the garden weather permitting.
