Default New redfoot

Hi i have never had a redfoot before and have been offered this one i have been doing alot of research over the past few days on what they eat the type of substrate and the type of enclosure they need. This is the one have been offered and would much appreciate someone with a bit of experience to give there thoughts, opinions and advice if i decide to keep him.

Would not worry about the age, Looks okay slightly lumpy shell but I have seen worse this indicates that it was captive bred. Will require some space and I would cut down abit on its diet so it's shell will not get worse. I have 10 adults I love redfoots.

He'll have about 4ftx3ft indoor space in a shed that has been well insulated and set up for torts and 20ftx15ft out door space

Saying that any chance you could make it 4x4 as he will not be able to go outside that long in this crapy weather

Go to this site. He is very helpful, and his care sheets are simple to follow. His Redfoots are beautiful.
