You are so right we having little if any knowledge of any of these animals.
The red foot is a right little sweetheart she ate yesterday. It was a glorious sunny day so we took her in the garden and she loved it.She munched her way through a handful of dandelions and leaves other than that she has eaten very little of what she has been given but will go out and get the foods you suggested.
The RSPCA dropped them off last thurs and they went to our reptillian vet on Friday they are all healthy though extremly underweight.
How do I upload pics on here, help.

I'm a redfoot keeper/breeder. From what you have posted and been told I don't think you have encountered tropical tortoises before (no offence). Your redfoot is probably too small to sex but it doesn't really matter. As littlefoot said, room temperature is too low for a redfoot. They can take a while to settle in if they have been stressed so won't eat. I would say red lettuce leaves, rocket for tasty leaves. Melon, peach, plum, for fruit. Mushroom usually goes down well. Best not to watch them eat as they settle in.
What do you know about how the redfoot was kept before? Also where are you? Is the redfoot in a good way or does it need special treatment?
Good luck with all you've taken on. Any pictures would be a great help, but sounds like you are a bit busy for that.
Cheers
