All the reps will be up for rehoming as soon as we get the go ahead from the RSPCA,anyone interested will be able to pm us at the time.A resonable donation will be required (you decide how much), all monies going to the RSPCA.
Gerry.
Do you not have donations for your rescue centre?

Gerry, please please don't take the question I am about to ask in a derogatory way... it really isn't intended that way and I have great admiration for you and Maria and the work you are doing to help, but why did the RSPCA hand them over to you when have no experience of reptiles? Wouldn't it have been better for the reptiles and you if they had found someone with previous experience of these species?

Hi Tina, Honey I don't mind you asking at all.We have experiance of snakes and lizards, but not of spiders or turtles/Tropical torts, although we are learning very quickly at the minute.
The reason they were brought to us is because this was an emergency and they need to be in a place of safety asap,we were the only people able to help that quickly. We would never turn any animal away,we find forums like this and the members of them to be a wonderfull source of advice and help.We also rescue ferrets as well as all the other animals we have already stated,as you can imagine we never have a dull moment.
Gerry.

Thanks for your reply and for not taking offense

If you have experience of snakes and lizards and therefore experience of creating microclimates, heating and lighting I would suspect that it's not too much of a learning curve for torts and turtles... spiders I can't comment on as I'd be too much of a coward to keep them

It sounds like you have a very exciting life. Very best wishes to you both and all your little rescuees.
