Urgent advice for horsfield

Hi,

Have just bought a horsfield tort and need some advice re his keeping. He is around 14cm long and is currently on a tort table which is 2ftx 3ft. Will post pics later. I am using a Repti Glow 5.0 UVB 26w lamp for UVB but from reading some posts I am now wondering if I should have bought the 10.0 UVB Bulb. Is the bulb I have got ok or should I change it. Please help!. Ian. P.S Is this table a suitable size for him. He will be going outside when weather permits and gets a daily stroll around the living room. Thanks!

Hi Ian,

The 10.0 % UVB tube would have been better, but at least you've got him some UV light! I use the 10.0% tubes for my Horsefield, Leopards & Hermanns.

Hi,
Its not the tube its the bulb. Does this make any difference?

mine have 60wt bulb for basking

I'm sure I have read they aren't very good, but a 5 is no good anyway, I buy the long UV lights and only buy a 10!
