Ed, your old garden, thats pretty much the way mine is now. But i have a section with a greenhouse and leopard garden, a paved area for the dogs, a garden for the kids and a patio area for me chill out. My last house i had 7 seperate areas for torts, before i decided to focus on africans. so much easier now i have decided to downsize a little!

where about do you live now?? it looks like a beautiful part of the world.

You can't imagine. I'm in NW Gerogia. We have winters but they last about 2 months... I can live with that. I do miss the desert of SoCal but this is totally not bad. For those of you who are twitchers... this is paradise... saw a rose brested grosebeak and its mate the other day and I've seen 4 Philieated woodpeckers since moving in 2 years ago... yea... that's exciting to me.

You can see I didn't leave much space for the kids in SoCal but I did have a tree swing when we first moved in.

My pleasure Ed, forgot to say, your enclosures are fantastic, as are your animals, I have a soft spot for the larger tortoises.

I know. It sound arrogant... yea... it's arrogant but I put a great deal of work into my critters... I need to be more humble... sorry.

What? I don't think you come across as arrogant at all, passionate...yes, arrogant...definitely not. And with set-ups like that you have no need to be humble.

What are your winter temps like there Ed? Looks like you have enough room for a decent size turtle pond.
