The TT will get back soon probably, they are busy people and will be able to give a positive ID.

I have to say I thought tunisian!

I used to have two tortoises who where in drag- Tommy looked like a definate Girl, Gus looked more like a boy, and then they swapped sexes

Tommy grew a massive tail last year, and its even bigger now he's out of hibernation, Gus' seemed to grow stubbier!

hi again right were do i start
still waiting for animal welfare to get back to me they are trying to contact previous owenrs

but TT have been back in touch with me i will pase their email replies in
please tell me your verdict,as if theese torts are not tunisian they need hibernating and may need difrent dite needs i dont want to feed them food and keep them awake if this is going to harm them in the long run ,you know what i mean i hope lol

ne way emails below
1)

Side and tail views would make it 100%, but these appear to be Testudo hermanni.

Yes you do hibernate Hermanns. What sex are they Claire, I can't remember?

Who identified them as Tunisian's originally? Bad news is of course you still need papers for them. Good luck with that.

they wont issue me with papers i can keep them but they wont giv me them i have to gift them on if i want rid!
think they r males
it was blonde sarah who id'd them

hi been to the vets as sick of messing round guessing what they are they r hermans i no i still need papers atlease i can research them properly now tho thank for al ur help

i went with tunisian as blondesarah said she has some and they are the same? never mind

Well thank goodness you know their exact species now, but bad luck on having 3 males without papers did the vet sex them as well?
