Thanks so much and farewell for a while!
I'm off to Indonesia tomorrow for 6 months of fieldwork to a place with no phones, no email, no internet - nothing (eek!) so I just wanted to say a big thanks to everyone who's helped me with advice and stuff the past few weeks. It's been great to have this place and the support here has been brilliant - so thanks so much (particularly for helping me ID all those weeds!
 )Anyway I won't be around on here of course til I'm back but I hope everyone here and all your tortoises and turtles have a lovely, warm summer and get a chance to enjoy some nice weather  bye bye Nancy

Hobgolblin - I'm doing post-doc research on human-wildlife conflict over there - basically monkeys crop-raiding from local farmers - how the farmers deal with it, implications for the farmers, implications for the monkeys and other wildlife and general impact on conservation and stuff
