Default Another rescue!!!!

Hi all...well you know the story of Tammy..word gets round and another neihbour called in an hour ago and had found a 'turtle' in her garden..she had him in a fish tank and he was in water but had scrabbled on to a rock..bless..he had been in it over night..how awfull..she had asked all round the houses to see if anyone had lost him with no luck..it's a spur thigh..very young prob a few months old so not sure male of female. I insisted on takeing him and explained why etc. (she doesn't want him anyway) I disinfected the tortoise table and he is happily basking under the lamp..I think he may be a bit water logged as he is making a shrill sound when breathing so will keep my eye on him and get him to vet's monday..i secretly hope no one turns up to claim him! Awfull woman arn't I ha ha x x

Yes he/she will be loved up tonight and then will hope for the best, she's a bit bubbly round nose and mouth but it's clear liquid, she did eat a tiny bit of strawberry though so that's a good sign!

Yes if he/she gets through the night ok I will keep him, he/she is georgous and I have just noticed a dandilion has been chomped at, so thinking positive now. will keep the tort in at night and put him/her in the garden in the sun when I'm happier that all is well.

Are you going to put an ad in the local paper or ask for an announcement on your local radio station to see if you can find the torts owners? Someone must be very worried about him.
