Default choking tort

my tort was in the garedn friday and he was what looked like having a fit he had his mouth open and was using his legs to try get sumin out of his mouth he was fliping about every were i paniced anc screamed there was somthing lodged in his throught and i didnt know what i could get it out with i screamed for andy to get some thin long plyers dont know that u call them ne way to remove the object, but b4 he got back tank had swallowed it he has not eaten anything since i put him in a bath minutes after to he could have a drink he never had one tho,
yesterday he was basking as usual like nothings happend, then last night i noticed him walking extremely hight up on his back legs and his tail was wagging from side to side like a dog when andy got to me he had stoped and burrowed in for the night,

is the tail a coincidence to the choking episode? is it normal ,
andy said he may be trying to poo the object out witch think was a dry clump of grass as he as in his run and there was nothing he swallow.

My tort always "wags" his tail when he walks, it is normal because i've asked on here before.

It's funny isn't it!

if he has ingested something and you are SURE there was nothing in there that was not edible then i wouldnt worry about it.It can take up to 28 days for a torts food to pass from one end to the other. if you think that its a lump of dried grass then it will digest eventually. If the "high walking" is not normal for YOUR tort, then keep an eye on him. keep bathing him and offering food and if you are still worried in a week or two (because he isnt eating and pooing) then consider a trip to the vets.

My tortoise donatello is like that when he's inside, all he wants to do is bury himself and stay there unless I bring food. This is when he'll get up and have a munch but then goes back to sleep. As soon as I put him outside though it's like he's had a rocket fuel injection and he bombs around, he loves it!
Maybe try putting him in a hot spot in the garden and feeding him, you've probably tried this already though i'm guessing because you have an outdoor space. Just keep an eye on him, I always think that a tortoise won't starve itself (especially a Russain!) unless there is something majorly wrong. Keep an eye on his weight, keep offering food and if nothing else works... yes i'm gunna say it... call the vet

Just check for any swelling just incase especially mouth and throat area and tongue etc.If he isn't acting his usual self in the next 3 days I would take him straight to a vet.
