hi been looking for female horsfields as i have 2 males only im having problems finding any lol every one has males? why is this.
also how long is the estimated life span of horsfield?

Hi Claire have you tried advertising ? Have you looked on preloved ?

Lifespan is around 50 years in captivity although I have heard of them living longer than this.

It's usually easier to find males as breeders only need one for their group of females - so as they mature and sex becomes evident males will get sold on and females won't.

The Tortoise Trust and the BCG both rehome tortoises but you will need to join both groups to be considered. Preloved is worth looking on too but you will need to question very carefully to ensure that it's a genuine rehomer up for sale.
