I have found a a site on the web, it's a company called the tortoise shop, they say they have experience and that the tortoises are all from the UK, they also deliver... Does anyone know if they are good or not? I would do this as a last (and i mean ultimate last) resort.

I think the Tortoise Shop Horsfields are imports actually. It's the Hermanns and some of their marginated that are bred in the UK. I think you'll find threads about them if you do a search on here.

I got my Leopards of Preloved, I always think it is nice to give a home to the ones who are no longer wanted for whatever reason. You do have to be careful though, some a genuine cases, others aren't!

Well I sell horsefields and I'm only 45 mins from Bristol and actually delivering there tomorrow morning.. although I raise them in open topped tortoise cages with access to outdoor pens and a diet of weeds... they're not CB in the UK and I am a retailer (abuse via PM only please )... but if you can't find a breeder and do want to consider an import you're more than welcome to come and see ours and their indoor/outdoor enclosure
