Well they do overlap and they do meet in the wild as I have read texts that they are not sexually attracted to each other !! I keep my captive bred yellows with the reds for about 6 months and all are thriving, adults I am not sure. Yellowfoots have to stay wet but I think that the reds would do no harm by staying wet as well IMHO
