Default greenhouse settling in(ish)

hey guys, thought i should post some pics of my greenhouse now its almost done. the grass seed has started to grow, despite 4 hungry leos chomping at it all the time. i still need to work out insulation boards for the winter, and add on a night time shed for winter but all in good time. the current space measures 4mx 6m all together and will double once the second phase is done. the place is still like a bombsite (outside the torts area) and no matter how often i try to get sorted an FINALLY unpacked from the house move, more crap materialises! i will be grassing the drive way soon as the current grazing is down the entire side of the greenhouse but they will need more space.

I have two powersun lamps in there at the moment, as we have had the mini heatwave, but i also have a stat controlled fan heater for chillier days. they have a wodden hide inside but will have to get another as they cant all fit in it! loads of hiding places outside, and will be expanding the grazing over the next few weeks, just wanted to get the first stage done and get them all outdoors.

well i would really like them to be living outsode for at least 9 months of the year. i will still bring them in at the VERY cold times, or i would worry myself to death! but as i am gonna have another baby, i cant have the baby messing with the torts, or worse, the baby catching any parasites from the torts. so yeah, the eventual goal is outside. the brick building next to the greenhouse is a 10 foot by 6 foot utility room. if i can persuade my OH, they could live in there!

You have been busy!

I used to want to keep moving every couple of years as we were in the army, and it was hard to get used to staying in one place at first. We ended up buying this place because of the huge garden and we have been here since November 1995. Can't move now because the torts need the garden!
