Funnily enough I looked at his Wild Food book in the Garden Centre earlier today and thought that it had some really useful info in that I could use when feeding the torts but didn't have time to look through it properly. I think I'll go back at the weekend and have another look and purchase it if it's as good as I think.

Yeah, I have Ray's book - I would recommend it as its a fantastic read. Obviously, half of the book is devoted to meat which is not so useful for Torts, but its a great read nonetheless. I do like the fact that I have discovered all manner of plants growing on my dorrstep that can be harvested - and many are very tasty.
I have heard of the oxalates - but they are dangerous to humans as well are they not?
