Default Sunshine and Outdoor Enclosures

I am building an outdoor enclosure but my yard only gets direct sunshine in the afternoon at around 12-1230pm.

Will this be OK for my news torts?

Will the enclosure get no sunshine for the rest of the time or will it be in dappled shade?

we have a beautiful big cherry tree in our garden and it really cuts down the sun on one half of the garden. i think it may have to go next year. If you have the same sort of thing then your tort should be fine. even half an hour sun a day will be of a benefit to him, compared to none at all. and in the shade there will still be some uvb, even if its only a tiny amount compared to dull sun.

For the whole of the morning where the tort enclosure will be it is in shade.

Then at about 12ish until about 7ish it gets sunshine

So thats OK?

as long as they can warm upin the morning under a heat lamp i would say yes, thats fine. the sun is at its hottest between 1 and 3 so they should be fine.

I don't have access to a heat lamp for outside though. Will they be OK in the shade until 12? Our yard gets no sun until then.
