Hi, Could I ask those of you experienced with Leopard Tortoises, How can I work out the age of my Leopard and its sex.
Got no info when I bought Him/Her.
He/ She is approx 8 inches (measured on carpace), I do know who to tell Horsefields apart by the tail either lying to the left/right. Don't know if I've a stompy or stompet

at 8 inches it may still be difficult to sex a leo 100% i have a female that turned into a male! a female will have a straight underneath, while a male will be dished underneath so he can mount the female. also it would be much easier if you posted pics of the tail area and plastron from a few different angles. and also of his shell and face so we can see his shell growth.

I've only had him/her 6 weeks, Very lively and eats like a monster, and charges around so we called him/her stompy.
