hi Ali have you confined her in any way because its been a while now and she may need a break, my own girl still hasnt laid so i have put her back in the main enclosure for the weekend if she doesnt try digging soon i may get her xrayed just in case i missed the clutch and she has already laid.then if she hasnt i will need to try offering another choice for nest site.are you sure this is a ruunny nose as its far to serious to ignore, keep a close eye on her. being gravid is stressful for them although i cant say i have heard of any getting a runny nose from it.

i dont think its a RI . its just a damp nose, no bubbles and no drips just damp around her nares. my husband went and turned over the nesting site yesterday and he got 18 inches down and there was no eveidence that the ground had been disturbed. i have locked her in the greenhouse today hoping that the warmth will not only dry up her nose but that the solitude will encourage her to lay. is that alright? any other advice?

Well... this is common with some of my leopards when it is hot and humid outdoors. If they are acting normal in everyway... I don't worry about it but I do watch them.
My only concern is that when it is runny this is going to be your best chance of transmission of anything considering the first thing these guys do when they meet is touch nose to nose. In your case this has probably happened. You have to weigh out if you want to get so fanatical as to seperate them out or accept certain risks in the name of breeding and the like. Ed Quote:

Keep in mind that if it is too hot she might not like the green house as a place to lay.
