Hi, i have an 18 month old Leopard tortoise that seems to have developed a black face, from his mouth downwards to under his chin, it causes him no trouble at all. He is eating twice per day, under a heat lamp, has access to a water bowl, regular bowel movements etc.
He doesnt go outside except if it is really warm and that is only for approx 1 hour, as i was told to wait until he is 3 years old before permanantly moving him outside. He has a paper based bedding ! Think i have covered it all ! Any ideas please let me know ![]() Many thanks in anticipation. Stu |

hi all mine are the same i think its the milk in the weeds they eat (sowthistle and dandelion ) as mine graze daily throughout the year but seem to get worse in the summer when these are more readily available.
