Can Torts Eat Strawberry?
I Have Left Tank For Ages Not To Get Back To Feeding Normal And He Appears To Eat Every Few Days ,when He Does He Demolishes The Garden.
So I Thaught Time To Try Again With Worming,
The Vet Mentioned Banana Then A Friend Mentioned Strawberry.its For His Worming Meds To Be Squirted Into I Have Baught Some Tiny Ones
He Is A Horsfield

Lots of people feed strawberries when worming, the colour attracts them just as much as the taste... good luck!

ive heard lots of people feed strawberries to tortoises, but just as a treat and not part of their staple diet.
i dont have tortoises but i think they are very cool

can i feed the leaves off the strawberry?
i have just put one on his plate as he ha
s decided to have a evening bask fingers crossed
i have to re do squirt also as he was done 2 weeks today so will try him with strawberry

Strawberry leaves and flowers (wild and cultivated) are fine as part of their normal diet... it's just the fruit that should be fed as a treat.

o gr8 cheers tina just had a laughing fit squirt is trying to eat it and he is rolling itaround the room bless him he wont eat out of a dish and i didnt want to put it on his substrate so he is on the laminate floor rolling it like a ball ,bess him OOO he is geting stuck in,he has been eating cuttle fish today and he looks like he has lipsil on lol

Yes they can, but i think more of a treat than staple diet.

he never eat it i wil try him again today,will fire the heat up in the living room and give him lots of fuss and a treat see if he goes for it
