the problem with tortoises is that people have seen them on tv programmes or at their great grandmas etc just living in the yard and don't think it needs anything more.

as for what to do for weeds... she can get a plastic greenhouse, argos sells them i think as does b&q....it's basically a mini greenhouse (you build it yourself you can get various sizes but they're all really easy to put up). And then get seed trays, and plant the weeds in there. They're pretty good, had to weight the bottom of ours with bricks though to stop it flying off when we had really bad weather & winds last year

Okay I know I got my tort before I got the lights and stuff but at least I knew I had to get them and got them the next day.

Then when I got Freddie I bought everything he needed first.

Plus I had owned another tort for 35 years.

Is the lady getting a UKCB or import? Lets hope its UKCB. Not that imports are all bad, my Georgie is an import.
