So she just bought a tortoise without knowing what kind of tortoise it is and without any prior knowledge on how to care for it?
Honestly - the things you hear! Good job you were there to explain and help her out

hell! I have a garden and Im still having to venture to a local field to get weeds! I have a feeling this lady might regret ordering a tortoise when she realises the difficulties and extra expenses she will have to deal with. Does she have a UV light and basking lamp or any Nutrobal or ANYTHING thats needed?

Ah yes! But can it live in there all year round and eat the same diet as a rabbit? I think that is what the lady was saying

plenty of people live in multi storey flats and still manage with dogs and cats. it may be difficult but there is no reson why she would not be able to manage with a little planning and forethought. a concrete garden doesnt really mean anything, one VERY well known breeder recently told me she wouldnt sell me a horsefield as they werent suited to lawned gardens.

Basically what I was saying was a rabbit hutch would be inappropriate for year round accomodation and it would be difficult of you have no garden - not impossible
