Default honeysuckle

can torts eat the leaves from honeysuckle or is it just the flowers?

From what I've read on TortsNutrition the leaves are only mildly toxic in excess (as they contain tannin) so in moderation I should think they are okay. I tend to steer clear of anything that's even mildly toxic so don't feed them, each to his own.

netty.ray just in case you didn't know the berries are thought to be toxic to torts so best not feed them.

Oh I must get some honeysuckle. Its a lovely plant to have in the garden.

My torts love the flowers, I suppose it's a combination of their colour and the gorgeous smell. We've only lived here a couple of years but the people before us planted a very tort friendly garden with lots of edible plants. Nice of them eh?

Lucky you, all the previous owner left us was a forest of nettles...OUCH!!!!!
