Default Imported Terrapin!!!

Hi,

I have an unusual story to tell & before everyone starts telling me how wrong this is, I KNOW!!

My wife has just been on Facebook & a girl that she used to work with has got in touch asking if we will rehome her Terrapin as she doesnt want it any more.

Here comes the bad bit... she got it about 2 years ago when she went on holiday to Malta & found this small Terrapin, she put it in a Marmite Jar in her suitcase & brought it home back to the UK & has kept it as pet since, & now wants to rehome it!

Any idea of what species it could be as I cant find alot about Terrapin species in Malta on the internet, I havent seen it yet but will keep you all posted.

Pete

It could be anything, it doesn't have to be a species native to the area. A a few clear pictures would be the only way of telling for sure.

More likely a Stripe Necked Terrapin, they are common on many of the Mediterranean islands.

Hi, she gave a brief description saying it was green with quite a bit of yellow!! That could be majority of Terrapins!

You need to place the photos on a web based photo host such as this...

Free Image Hosting - Image upload - xs.to - Media Hosting

then cut and paste the link for the photo.
