Can i add (not picking on anyone) but its really really important to give your tortoises a varied died feeding eg dandelions and vetch for a day is NOT a varied diet.

Yesterday mine had

Vetch
Sow and pickley thistle
Hedge mustard
Wild violets
Dandelions
Bindweed
Plantain
Clover white and red

I have planted stingers in hardcore enclosure, They are only small Ans seems to love them, He bites the bottom of the stalk so it falls over then eats the leaves!

Is this ok?

Nettles sting on the leaves. The stingers point one way. You can stroke a leaf from stem to the tip of the leaf without being stung, but if you go from tip of leaf to the stem then you will get stung.
If memory serves anyhoo, I know the stings only point one way.

I dont think nettles sting a tortoise they dont have the same reaction to them as we do.

if they do i may have to give them dock leaves for pudding lol
