Default Tortoise breeders near southampton!

i live in lymington near the isle of white and was wondering if anyone new of any breeders of small sized tortoises (hermans, Mediterranean, spur...) its for my sister, she was originally after a red footed tortoise but we cant find a local breeder any where (any help on that would be greatly appreciated). im sick of my mum and dad taking her to reptile shops and taking there word as gospel and mine as nothing. they offered her a leopard tortoise in a VIV when my parents asked for a small beginner i was tempted to say nothing so i could end up taking it off there hands for free as it will be to large but i had to tell them. ANY THOUGHTS PEOPLE ON SMALL TO MID RANGE TORTOISE BREEDERS LOCAL TO ME? AND THOUGHTS ON SUITABLE BREEDS FOR HER? SHE WANTS A SMALL TORTOISE BUT NOT TINY!

Hi I am new to tortoise keeping and I have a horsfield, I think that for a new keeper this breed is idea - they are fairly sturdy, can cope with slight temperature imperfections better than others and have a great personality. Also they only grow to about 7-8 inches max, down side being as that they are great diggers and escape artists! Anyway I think he is perfect but I am probably biased!!!!
Sorry can't help you with the breeder problem though.
