Have a look at this thread, it has some links to very good caresheets on housing, feeding and general husbandry which should help you:

MED TORTOISES... useful links

The bath should be lukewarm water and up to a depth of the bottom of the torts shell. Try to give them both a bath at least 3 or 4 times a week to keep them hydrated and encourage them to pass urates.

Let us know how you get on and shout if you need help with the outdoor enclosure... there's a sticky at the top of this section with some good ideas for outdoors.

Several people get given the wrong advice about different things when they buy a tortoise. The general concensus is no viv's but tortoise tables ( there are plenty of pics on here of different one people have made) this will enable the tortoise to have a basking end and a cool end.

There is plenty advice on diet here too - just look through old posts and the stickys and if you have any particular questions do not be afraid to ask.

Nothing wrong with this if he is just keeping them in there to sleep at night... and removes them to the conservatory during waking hours.

I don't know if that's the case because a bunch of questions have not been answered.

This is an interesting post if you look at it...

None of the questions were answered to where anyone could make an informed decision.

Many conclusions were made based on... what????

With the above answered questions it really wouldn't make a difference what part of the world the OP was located in... would it?

Too many missing pieces for me to say on way or the other.

knowing what the temperatures are indoors wont influence my decision as to if this tortoise should be ok outside or not.
