Default worming horsfield

hi i wa sjust wondering if there is any wormer that can be used on a baby horsfield as i can see little white/clear worms in its poo

iideally you should get a smaple to the vet so he can identify the exact parasite burden he has. he may have other parasites that dont respond to the worm treatment. a vet should not charge too much for this and the medication should be in the range of pennies. the cheapest over the counter stuff is about £10 and a weaker version of what the vet will give you.

Our vet prescribed panacur for our young Horsfield's , they weigh around 116g and we had to give them 0.6ml dose each followed by the same dose in 2 weeks time.
According to one of the books we have the dosage ratio for Fenbendazole is 50mg/kg,
To work it out simply multiply 0.005 by the weight of the tort to give you how many ml you need to give

tis worth noting that panacur doesnt work on all parasites, nowhere near. it treats worms, thats all, not the parasites that are too small to see with the naked eye. they are just as damaging, if not more so.
