Default For Ed as promised- indian stars



As recomended by Darren, i got the Jerry D fife book on indian stars and made a few changes what do you think?
Peat at the top to hold humidity
then timothy grass at the bottom
It is alot lighter but my camera is broken so had to use a phone camera

I'm sorry... that is like... way too humid for stars...

(you know I'm kidding)

Your set up is heaven for Stars... as for most tortoises.

Ed it was Darren who told me to get the book, i got it from america and is leopard tortoise one. Its brilliant some of his points are amazing:

Like if you want a female tortoise, choose the one with split or extra scutes and this normally happens with hight temps so more offen than not they are females.

And that dried dandelions have 17.5% protein a fresh one is 2.5%

Mazuri is 15% protein dry so once soaked this is reduced.

Here Star Tortoise(s) NEW Book Indian Burmese Sri Lankan on eBay, also, Turtle, Animals, Collectibles (end time 13-Jul-08 12:23:53 BST)

Its an excellent book, i also got the leopard tortoise one.

Took 7 days to arrive, well worth it.

Thanks hun will have a trawl round ebay later. Amazon say 6 - 12 weeks for delivery.

I found the seller i got the books off very helpful and replied to all my emails. He sent it straight away. Im not searching for more books by these guys.
