antibiotic drops
hey all. dont know if any of you will rememebr a while back, somebody posted saying that their tortoise was treated with drops for mild RNS that are also commonly used to treat human conjunctivitis. its available to buy over the counter but i cant for the life of me remember what its called, or more importantly, what the active ingredient is. I only ask as i have been checking my records and forgot to note the name of the meds down when i treated one of my leos last year, and it was the same drops. HELP!! i hate having incomplete records.....

i know what it is, i just cant get the bloody name to form in my mind! its right there on the tip of my tongue, i can see the bottle in my head but have a complete mental block.......i HATE it when this happens, i get really irritated and impatient. thanks anne, much appreciated

lacrilube is artificial tears in cream form, just contains parrafin etc. i use it for my "dry eyes" it hasnt any antibiotics in it like the chloramphenacol ones you can get over the counter.

my vet prescibed chlorophnicol for rns and you can buy it over the counter now as optrex sell their own version which contains the same ingredient as the vets .
