Default can tortoises get constipated

sorry for more questions.
tilly has been very sleepy all day so i gave her a bath in the hope she would wake up a bit ,
sounds daft but it looked like she was struggling ,she did go but little bits at a time , not the normal smooth all at one poo.

i have been giving them both a mixed diet of weeds and fruit diffrent every day
im thinking it may be down to the substrate ,its coir (the block stuff ) as once the poo softened up in the water it looked like fine soil.the flipping coir gets every where in water bowl over food cuttle fish ,i keep changing it .
i didnt want to over bath them do you recommend every day ?

they are babies arent they? my mum has just got 2 redfoot babies and she baths them every day in a shallow dish. then she cleans it out and feeds them in the same dish to stop them eating any of the substrate. if they eat the substrate it can really cause a problem getting them bunged up. if you just have coir as a substrate i really suggest you get some orchid bark to put over the whole lot. it will retain the moisture and also be too big to get eaten accidentally. I would deffo say bath them everyday as torts arent always clever enough to remeber to drink when they are supposed to, and babies can loose alot of moisture very quickly. the extra fluids will also help them to flush out any blockages.

I bath my two most days, warm water...
That's when I see them drink, poo and discharge some white stuff (which I understand is quite normal).

I also put their dry formula into warm water, wet their weeds etc to make sure they're gettting fluids.

I'm not a poo expert, but it seems fairly firmly formed to me, one lump sort of pencil width and about half to three quarters of an inch long.
