Wow! They are lovely enclosures Helen. Do you have any heat/light sources for them if it is cold or dull?

No I do have a basking shed outside...which I used more prior to the coldframes...but I find they suffice...once they are warm...I take the lids off and they get the sun without filter.

I only brought my 2 to 5 yr old ibera in once this year...it flooded in september.
I never brought the young hermanns in nor any adults....

No Tina...I didnt make one of those...but now I have them I can see how easy it is!!

The one you cannot see...which is on the far left of the hermanns enclosure was bought for around £28 at B AND Q...but then they stopped selling them...my store had one still packaged left and 3 that looked like they were missing bits...so over three days I got all four for £12 in total...the only one that was missing anything was the last one that I got for a £1....it had a missing back so I added a back to it from some off cuts I had...

They do look good Helen - I read about people getting all sorts of bargains from B & Q - I however couldn't even get any broken unsaleable slate when I asked at my local one !!!!!

Hi Anne, how are you doing?
I'm very lucky, my mum works in B&Q and when there's any bargains, she phones me and my sister straight away!!! So in the spring I will have her on the lookout for coldframes!!!

Last year she got me a lovely wool rug for my living room for 50p!!!!

It's nice to get a bargain - I did actually get some big pebble type things for Morrisons this week for the outside enclosure - 99p per bag buy one get one free and I only need to spend £3 to get the amount I needed !!!
