Default Tamara the Horsfield laid

After a week or so of pacing she started to dig again first thing this morning
Its taken about 3 hours
These are her first ever eggs and it just amazes me how they know what to do.

Sarah as a gardener and seeing as my garden has a major layer of slate once you have dug deep enough, I have realised how slate is like razor sharp. I couldn't help but notice a fair amount of slate your tort appears to have dug up. Would this not be better to remove rather than risk injury? Only asking after I've had so many slit fingers!!!

Ive used slate for years and had no problems. This slate is not razer sharp and ive had no problems what so ever using it with 8 horsfields and 7 iberas.
