Does anyone else have any advice on trying to narrow down the problem, could it be that a 160w is too powerful???? |

My 100 watt did flicker and turn off initially a couple of times but now it is fine and I have had it around 6 weeks now. I buy everything through Kimbos as Darren is very helpful. |

Got mine from repitilekeeping.com who were also very good and very helpful, I just hope that they agree to change the bulb again. By the way the ordinary spotlight is still going strong!
It's all such a shame as even having the megaray on for just 2 days I could see the difference him already, was far more active, awoke earlier, eat more etc, it's him I feel sorry for. |

I don't think it is the holder that is the problem as an ordinary bulb is working just fine and I don't think it is a contact problem as the bulb had definitely blown, bits of filament were at the bottom of the bulb.

Famous last words!!!! The ordinary bulb that I put into the holder yesterday has blown this morning, so looks like it is the holder that is the problem. This is driving me mad now as it will yet anoter week until Thomas gets his new lights, it's so frustrating, I feel like asking for a refund and going to buy the set up in a shop somewhere ![]() |
