Default In water or on land

Do turts sleep in the water or on basking area, mine seem to chop n change, i often find them still on dock an hour or 2 after lights ave gone off.

It seems to vary turtle to turtle, and night to night. I find the majority of mine find a resting place just below the surface. Some do sometimes sleep on the basking site.

thats ok then, i find them quite often jus below the surface with their noses poking out just recently found em still on the dock.

They're quite amusing actually, mine seem to be fast asleep within ten minutes of me turning all the lights out. My basking area has a ramp type bit leading upto it, and they mostly sleep on this with noses poking out of the water.
